Well folks, it’s almost time to bring this incredible journey to a close, but not without making a few more cherished memories along the way as we head back south. My trusty skoolie, lovingly restored by Crystal and her family, has been treating me like royalty on the road, and we’ve finally made our way to Ohio! I couldn’t pass through without stopping to see @mzdestiny_excon – always a blast to be around and the best company one could ask for. We decided a trip to the zoo was in order, so off we went, her son in tow, and it turned out to be just what the doctor ordered. There’s something about reconnecting with good friends that rejuvenates the soul and gets you ready to hit the road again with a renewed spirit.
Next on the agenda was a pit stop in the beautiful state of Kentucky, and specifically, a visit to Cumberland Falls. The moment I stepped out and took in the view, I was absolutely mesmerized. The falls, with their mighty roar and mist in the air, were a sight to behold, and the surrounding nature was so peaceful and serene, it felt like I had stepped into a different world. I took a moment just to breathe and take it all in, allowing the tranquility of the place to wash over me. The lush greenery, the gentle sounds of the flowing water, and the sheer beauty of it all made for a perfect last stop on this incredible journey. It was a time of reflection, of appreciation for the beauty of our world, and a reminder to always take the time to stop and appreciate the wonders of nature.
Now, with my heart full and my spirit reinvigorated, there’s only one place left to go – home.
