Today, I bid farewell to my lady friend, and the weight of the moment feels different. Every time life has tossed an obstacle our way, we’ve united, faced it head-on, and emerged stronger on the other side. These challenges, while tough in the moment, have a silver lining; they deepen the bond between us. But that also means that parting becomes even more bittersweet. While this isn’t a day shrouded in sadness, I’m filled with a mix of emotions as I embark on another journey to get my skoolie repaired.
On my way, I made a brief yet memorable pit stop in Delphi, IN to meet my buddy Dino, or as many know him, @i_ride_baggers. Dino’s motorcycle shop is a testament to his passion, and our time, though short, was filled with laughter and camaraderie. But the real highlight of the day awaited me in Indianapolis.
Upon reaching, I was warmly welcomed by Crystal and her wonderful family. They had offered to take a look at my skoolie in the hopes of taking care of the leaks. Their kindness was overwhelming. Before I could even soak it all in, Crystal’s husband and son dove into the task at hand. Watching them meticulously work on the skoolie was anxiety-inducing, but their expertise shone through. Amid the chaos, I took on a critical role - that of the flashlight holder! In no time, they had breathed new life into the skoolie. It’s hard to put into words the depth of my appreciation for this generous family. Their selflessness reaffirmed my belief: the world thrives on the kindness of people who help others without expecting anything in return.
As I hit the road, the skoolie felt smoother, and my heart felt fuller. Today wasn’t about the goodbyes but about the beautiful tapestry of relationships and the good in the world. Until our paths cross again, I carry these memories and gratitude with me, cherishing the genuine connections that make life’s journey truly worthwhile.
This journey has had me feeling like I'm traveling with you! This has been a blast!!!!😍
